What Customers Say About At Folsom Prison:

Those poor sad people who only gave this 1 & 2 stars must lead a very disturbed life.Johnny Cash was the king of country music and always will be.Im not to sure on one of the 1* votes that mentioned Carrie Edwards. If im wrong correct me but didnt she come from the American x factor ,where as Johnny used to sing and write songs from his early days.If the 2* &1* are reading this,go and buy some of Johnnies other albums,he made manyand there must be one you will like, until then.

I'd managed to go over a decade collecting a few songs from this album, but never owning it in its entirety. Buy the album. It's completely worth it. There are the classics like At Folsom Prison that everyone can sing along to, songs you need for a crazy day like Cocaine Blues, and Busted for those of us who are suffering from the present economy. It's livelier than most live albums, with brief humorous dialogue between Johnny, June, and the tough prison crowd.

I got this CD after watching the movie, Walk The Line. It's a great CD and that's all I gotta say. If you like the movie, you'll like the CD.

THIS CD IS ONE OF THE BEST COUNTRY MUSIC CD'S I'VE HEARD YET. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

His music connects with people across the planet from all kinds of backgrounds and people that might have almost nothing more in common than they like Johnny Cash. The performance IS electrifying. If I had to pick one Johnny Cash CD to get, this would be it. The Folsom Prison recording was my first real introduction to Johnny Cash while riding down highways and country roads through Appalachian foothills to do some backpacking with friends. Guess in way you couldn't find a better live audience for The Man in Black. Who doesn't love Johnny Cash. It was a perfect listening experience and haven't forgotten how much I enjoyed it to this day. This performance will always be in my collection.
